Spring is right around the corner which means so is the start of our 2013 Spring Intramural Program! Please see below for more info. You can also click the link for our Spring 2013 Newsletter for complete info.

Last Spring we made the move to Blue Sombrero for our new web site! This year we are making the switch to use Blue Sombrero's on-line registration system. Everything you need is right here in one location! All families will just need to create a new family account in the new system prior to registering for one of our programs. Just click on the REGISTRATION or LOG-IN button in the top right hand corner of this web site.

Important Dates for Spring Soccer

U5 & U6 Boys and Girls - no soccer on 3/23

All age groups - no soccer on 3/30

Skills Nights - U7/8 and U9/10 Girls & Boys

We will be holding skills nights for U7/8 Boys and Girls and U9/10 Boys and Girls. These skills nights are for players registered for these age groups for our Spring Intramural Program. We will start on Monday, April 1st and run through Wednesday, May 8th. All skills nights take place at Sleighton Park Fields. Location information can be found under the fields tab - locations.

6:00 - 7:00 - U7/8 Boys
7:00 - 8:00 - U9/10 Boys

Wednesday Nights
6:00 - 7:00 - U7/8 Girls
7:00 - 8:00 - U9/10 Girls

Spring 2013 Intramural Program

The season runs from March 16^th through May 11^th(we will take off on March 30^th due to Spring Break). We play every Saturday (weather permitting) at Cherry St Field or Indian Lane Elementary School, and players are grouped according to their age (4 – 13 years).
We will not have soccer for the kids who play at Indian Lane on March 23^rd.

All Girls and Boys will play in separate Divisions.

Players are required to have shin guards to play

A club provided Team T-shirt should be worn each week

We recommend each player comes with soccer shoes (or good sneakers)

A filled water bottle

An age appropriate soccer ball (Under 8 - #3; 8 to 11 - #4; 12 & older - #5)

Spring 2013 Intramural Registration

Your age for Spring soccer is determined by how old you were on July 31^st of last summer (2012).

Registration can be completed on our web site (www.rosetreesoccer.org) – just follow the link for our on-line registration system.

You are able to pay online with a credit card or you can mail a check to 4 State Rd. #200,

Media, PA 19063 after you complete the online registration

Players will not be placed on a team until payment is received. Payments will not be accepted at the field.

The Early Registration fees for registrations received on or before March 7th are as follows:

U5 and U6 and U11-14 Divisions - $65

U7&8 and U9&10 Divisions - $75

The Regular Registration fees for registrations received after March 7th are as follows:

U5 and U6 and U11-14 Divisions - $80

U7&8 and U9&10 Divisions - $90

The starting times and age groups will be confirmed on the RTSC Website. The teams will be selected randomly to maintain a level of equality among teams, and to give players a chance to play with and meet other players in the Club. Teams will be announced on Saturday morning prior to the beginning of each division, and games will be played the first day.
Only those players registered and rostered may participate. No registrations will be accepted at the fields.

Coaches/Volunteers

We can only field as many teams as we have coaches, team parents, Referees and administrators, so please consider volunteering your time to assist with a team this Spring.

Please register on-line using the same procedure that you did for your child.

We need volunteers to support all parts of the program; in particular Coaches and Team Parents.

Rose Tree Soccer Club policy requires all intramural coaches to provide an updated background check every year. Once you are selected to coach a team we will provide you with a link to submit your background check. We believe that this program provides reasonable precautions so the Rose Tree Soccer Club can continue to provide a quality and safe experience for the children of our community.

Special Requests

Special Requests can be made by placing a comment in the comment section when you register your child.

The son/daughter of a coach is automatically placed on their team

If requested we will try to do the following:

· Place a twin or sibling in the same division on the same team

· Move a sibling up an age group to play with an older sibling

· Place a player with one (maximum) other friend or relative on the same team
We can not honor the following requests:

· Any request to move a player down an age group

· Any request to group more than two (2) players on a specific team

We reserve the right to decline special requests in the interest of creating balanced teams.

We will Disregard any request on a registration, THROUGH E-MAIL OR ON THE HOTLINE received after THE EARLY REGISTRATION deadline (March 5th).
