Evaluations for our Travel Season are held in the spring. Players are notified of team status by the middle of May.  Depending on the team - practices start at the end of June/beginning of July.  Most teams practice twice a week in the evening during the summer and cut back to once a week when school starts.  Some teams will participate in tournaments in August to warm-up for the season. 

The league games start the Saturday after Labor Day and run through the Saturday before Thanksgiving.  Girls' teams play on Sunday - it is not uncommon to have games on either day, though; and some times both days on some weekends. 

All teams will participate in a tournament over Columbus Day Weekend.

Some teams continue and play indoors in the winter and will participate in leagues tournaments in the spring - this is up to each team.

• Players are expected to attend both evaluation sessions.  Participation in only one session may hinder the ability to accurately assess skill level and impact the placement of a player.  Any player unable to attend evaluations due to extenuating circumstances must still register and contact Dana DeMinico or Jon Consadene prior to the evaluation dates to make alternative arrangements. • RTSC will make every effort to field as many teams as we have competitive players and coaches; however we may not be able to place everyone on a team. Players will be notified of their status prior to Memorial Day Weekend.

• Players need to wear shin guards and bring a soccer ball and water bottle to evaluations.  Players are requested not to wear travel team uniforms or bring player team bags to the Travel Evaluations.

All coaches applications are due by March 22nd

Are you interested in being a travel team coach (head or asst)?  We ask that all coaches volunteer on-line through the on-line registration system. The following items are also required:

1. Signed acceptance of the RTSC Coaches Code of Conduct - agreed to when volunteering on-line with RTSC
2. EPYS items in GotSport - the club will be in touch when these items are due
3. Background checks as mandated by PA - uploaded to Clearcheck for RTSC

Once you complete the training and quiz, you can print out a certificate, making it easy to show your league or school you are ready for the season.

•Recognize concussion signs and symptoms and how to respond,

•Learn about steps for returning to activity (play and school) after a concussion, and

•Focus on prevention and preparedness to help keep athletes safe season-to-season.
